For ease of use, a new user interface integrates the Label Designer, Label Data Dictionary and Configuration modules. BARCODE 2000 modules provide the capabilities to
design labels, print batches of labels from applications by piping (sending) data or files to the Label Formatter, and create "on-demand" labels. Label Designer
Creates the label "templates". BARCODE 2000 lets you integrate 1D and 2D bar codes, data, text, boxes, lines and other graphics. Click-and-select menus make it easy to modify designs and
adjust font, size, density and height. Labels are displayed in WYSIWYG format. Label Data Dictionary Editor
Defines label data fields such as part number, ship quantity, or ship to company. Fields can be used as needed in one or more templates.
New in Version 7, import the field names from your database with JDBC. Configuration module
Defines data pipes, printers, and printer addresses, and sets additional operating parameters. |

Interactive Data Entry module
Print one-time production labels as needed, or print a sample label to verify a design.
Label Formatter
Provides data mapping and printing services. Send or pipe data directly from a program or file to this module and the labels print! Label name, quantity of labels to print and variable data fields
are included in each record. Multiple label types can be processed at the same time. Labels can be generated by directly piping data to the Formatter or by creating a file and shelling out to the
Formatter. Programs can also write to a file and initiate the label printing when the labels are needed.
