e-BARZ PRO server-based software from Unibar adds bar codes on the web for distribution and printing via the Internet. 1D and optional 2D barcode images can be added to order forms, shipping invoices, e-tickets, e-coupons and virtually all other Web documents. e-BARZ PRO is:
- A multi-platform software that supports Web applications written for a UNIX, LINUX or Windows server
- Compatible with most in-house applications and standard database management systems, and is easy to configure
- Can be used with virtually any UNIX, LINUX, or Windows Web server system. There is no need for any new hardware or networkig
- Can be run directly from the command line, a shell out of your own application, a CGI program, or in CGI mode
Unibar’s e-BARZ PRO Service makes it extremely convenient and cost effective for companies to add and print bar codes on Web pages and electronic documents without purchasing, installing or supporting bar code software or printers. Any printer that can output a Web page can print bar codes through the e-BARZ PRO Service, so the expenses of purchasing and maintaining separate bar code printers are also eliminated. The service is:
- Available as an annual subscription
- Extremely easy to use and requires no software to be installed
- Electronic forms become bar code-enabled simply by adding an HTML command, and the e-BARZ PRO Service handles the rest
- Compatible with common scripting languages such as Active Server Pages (.asp), Java Server Pages (.jsp), Perl, PHP and Cold Fusion.
- Supports 1D and 2D barcode types including Code 128, PDF 417, Code 3 of 9, POSTNET, UPC and EAN
